HE'S BACK!

Fight Team Captain and Head Instructor Charlie Kohler brought home a huge win at King of the Cage on August 4th. His fight was met with much anticipation from fans and supporters due to his hiatus from the cage. Its been a busy year for Charlie due to injuries from fight training and his SDFC duties of managing the fight team and gym. It's amazing how he does it all and can still score a rear naked choke in only 41 seconds as he did at KOTC Rapid Fire. Be sure to check for more updates of upcoming events with Charlie and our other excellent SDFC fighters.

RAZE MMA FIGHT NIGHT WRAP UP/PATRICK SPEIGHT VIDEO

Congratulations to Brandon Magana, Dave Hisqueirdo, and Brent Stephens on their awesome fights at RAZE MMA Fight Night on Saturday April 29. SDFC dominated the fight card at the i-Pay-One Center with Brandon scoring a rear naked choke and earning himself an electrifying tap out in the first round! SDFC veteran and Sheriff Dave Hisquierdo completely dominated his competition with a very aggressive ground game that not only drove the crowd crazy, but earned him a unanimous decision from the judges. We would also like to congratulate Brent Stephens who came out strong and kept his opponent under control in the first round with devastating blows, but had the fight stopped when it turned over to a very game opponent that found an opportunity. Overall an excellent display of athleticism and heart from all three of our fighters that definitely brought home pride for SDFC. Members, be sure to congratulate them when you see them in training.

Congratulations to Brandon Magana on his KOTC Victory!

Brandon Magana not only battled his opponent, but also with the pouring rain in his second cage fight! Brandon went to work immediately taking his opponent down to the mat and gaining a 1st round TKO victory after laying down a fury of targeted strikes. He's off to a great start, and his SD Fight Club Teammates and corner men are very proud of his accomplishments.
